Tracking Changes

Within the OrgChart Platinum software you have the ability to track changes (changes to records, adding of records and deleting records).

To start tracking changes go to the View tab and check Track Changes.

A Track Changes pane will appear on the right.  Click on Start Tracking Changes

After the track changes have been started on the right-hand side you are able to drag and drop boxes into different areas of the chart as well as update information within the boxes or properties.

When you drag and drop an employee to another section of the chart it will show up in the track changes automatically.

After you are done with your track changes you can print out a Word Document with all of the changes you have done for approval.

Track Changes: Staging area

Along with the track change option you also have a staging area as a part of the planning and modeling options. You can start the staging area by going to View tab and checking off the box.

The Staging area will allow you to drag and drop boxes into the area so you are able to freely move around the chart and drop boxes into other pages of the OrgChart.

The software will take anyone the indirectly or directly reporting up to that manager and place them into the staging area as well. You can move to the page that you would like to drag and drop boxes into and move the employee out of the staging area and into the page of the chart.

As long as you do not turn off the track changes they will continue to update the information for the report based off of the moves you are making in the software.
