Publishing a Division Sub-chart to PDF

Publish to PDF allows you to publish the entire chart, or you may simply publish a branch of the chart.

PDF Publishing: Preparation

First, navigate to the Division of your chart that you want to publish. Start the Publish wizard (File/Publish). Choose the Interactive PDF and click next.

Choose the scope of your publishing. The Current Chart is everyone within the Organization, the Active Sheet is the page that you are on and the Division and Below is the page that you are on and anyone that directly or indirectly reporting up to that person. Click Next.

Unless you really want an individual page for each person, make sure the Publish individual Details Is UNCHECKED. Click next.

You can include any of the below options while publishing. Note that you may limit the number of levels that are included in the published output.  Click Next.

The Dynamic Resizable option is normally the best publish option and results in the smallest file size. Click Next.

Click Browse and give the file a name. 

Click next, Click Next and Finish

What you see when published with the Division and Below Option:

The VP of Marketing is now the top of the chart with the direct reports below and any one that indirectly reports up to VP of Marketing.
